If the thing is big the we have to make it small for its proper application. The process in which any item is divided in parts by machine or manually for its proper small unit or part is called crushing, So the machine used for crushing is called Crusher.

Or in other technically words we can can say that Crushers or rock crushers are machines that are used to reduce the size of rocks and stones in aggregate production mining operations and , construction material recycling applications.
